I was a season ticket holder in the Dawg Pound in the old stadium and the new. I saw many of the greats like Jim Brown, Lou Groza, Ray Renfro, Frank Ryan, Gary Collins, Brian Sipe, and Webster Slaughter to name a few. I was there for the last game in the old stadium and at the first game in the new stadium. It was an eerie sight near the end of that last season when all the advertisements were pulled from the stadium, watching the Browns for the final time. The angry crowds still showed up, cheering their team on to the very last. Then, the new stadium and the new Browns. They have a huge legacy to live up to. I write about the Cleveland Browns and make picks for the week. Join me every week and compare your picks to mine for fun. I appreciate your patronage and support. |
